Archtop Ranch sits on the edge of the Cumberland Plateau in Burrville, Tennessee where our land rolls in gentle arches just like the arches on the banjos we play. 

We’re a regenerative ranch, which is a fancy way of saying we move animals around a lot, mimicking nature to build soil and resilience. Rotational grazing and mindful management help us rebuild the land, support wildlife, and raise animals the way they were meant to live. Healthy soil → healthy animals → healthy humans. It’s not complicated, but it does require getting up early.

We raise grass-fed and finished beef, pastured lamb, and pastured hens for eggs. Most of what we produce feeds our own family, but when the stars align (and our freezers are full) we offer beef, lamb, the occasional pastured pork, and eggs to other families who care about where their food comes from and how it was raised.

We believe in honoring the animals we harvest, which means using as much as we can. That’s how we ended up making tallow, lard and beeswax body products — because throwing away perfectly good fat felt wrong, and also because store-bought lotion is… questionable! Our lineup includes:

• Tallow lip balm

If it moisturizes, we probably tried making it.

 Archtop Ranch is built on land stewardship, animal husbandry, music, craftsmanship, and a firm belief that small‑scale regenerative agriculture still matters. We’re not out to save the whole world — just our little corner of it — and we’re grateful to share the gifts God provides through this land with folks who value healthy soil, healthy animals, and healthy lives.
